Located on the fourth floor of the Barone Campus Center, the Main Dining Room is Fairfield’s all you care to eat student restaurant featuring a wide variety of options that will suit every need. Students can customize their plate to meet their unique tastes and needs with comfort foods, vegetarian dishes, allergen-free and delicious, healthy entrees. Of course, Main Dining Room also has student favorites like fresh, home-made pizza, desserts, and hot from the grill favorites!

This station is everything it says and more! Create a Meal gives each student the flexibility to create and cook an entrée to their liking, with expert guidance from our staff of chefs. Stir-fry entrees, omelets, and Belgian waffles offer a creative outlet for our aspiring gourmets!

mindful.pngMindful allows our students to make healthy choices second nature! Mindful meals adhere to strict guidelines for caloric value, sodium, and saturated fat content – and it does it in the most delicious way! Students will learn how to create meals using the Mindful mix, which mirrors the USDA’s most recent standards for eating a well-balanced meal!

Simple ServingsSimple Servings & My Zone will make you feel good knowing that your student is safe from potentially harmful allergens. MyZone and Simple Servings have been combined into one station with an expanded offer!  Simple Servings features entrees at all meal periods that are free of the most common allergens found in food, including gluten, dairy and shell-fish! My Zone features gluten-free breads, condiments and entrees for those with gluten sensitivities and allergies only.

We wouldn't dare let our vegetarian students eat from the salad bar and pasta station every day! Vegetarians have hot entrée options every meal that are balanced with all the nutrition they need to live a healthy vegetarian lifestyle.

The soup and salad bar offer a variety of heart-warming soups, healthy salad toppings, composed salads like Tabbouleh and pasta salad, as well as hummus and pita chips.

Fresh and healthy breakfasts for both the light and hearty appetite! Cereals, fresh fruits and berries, yogurt, eggs, bacon, pancakes…we have it all!
