Responding to COVID-19

As the world continues the long journey back to normalcy, many students are gearing up to start a new academic year faced with new, extraordinary challenges. The start of a semester can cause anxiety for new and returning students as well as parents, and recent events have added reasonable concerns about health and safety in the wake of the global pandemic that altered the way we live, work, and learn. The Fairfield University Dining team understands these concerns and is committed to protecting the health and safety of everyone who dines on campus, as well as all members of our dining team.

Our team has been hard at work throughout the summer, creating a vision for the future of campus dining. We believe a cautious, measured approach will give our guests the confidence to enjoy meals on campus and the flexibility to choose dining experiences that allow them to feel most comfortable. We want to assure you that our team is taking every precaution to deliver safe, high-quality food in a carefully controlled environment.

The world will not return to normal overnight, and neither will campus. Although this year will introduce many changes and transitions, Fairfield Dining is optimistic that together, we can move forward. The precautions and safety practices we have put in place will allow us to move in steps toward a “new normal” that safeguard the health and well-being of one another.

We are here for you every step of the way and encourage you to contact us with your questions. Stay safe, Stags!
